OpenAI just broke physics...
OpenAI published a blog post describing scientific breakthroughs in math, physics, and computer science produced by its AI models. A key result is that an OpenAI model proved the Exponential Time Hypothesis (ETH) false; ETH is closely tied to the P versus NP problem, and if P equaled NP, most modern internet cryptography would be broken. OpenAI president Greg Brockman reassured that P still probably does not equal NP. The video frames P versus NP as one of the seven Millennium Prize problems, referencing John Nash's 1955 letter to the NSA and Kurt Gödel's letter to John von Neumann. It also notes OpenAI's Navier-Stokes proof is under active peer review and that the models produced a proof of pure Yang-Mills theory as a byproduct, which does not qualify for the full Millennium Prize.

the internet could go DARK...
A creator video warning of a wave of AI-powered cyberattacks dubbed 'Black October,' which the speaker says began within 48 hours of recording. It reports a breach of patient health data at Quest Diagnostics, quotes cybersecurity experts including Anthropic's Jason Clinton warning of further escalation, and notes Cloudflare's observation that attacks on disclosed vulnerabilities started before official announcement. It references Sam Altman's Stanford interview remark that all vulnerabilities cannot be patched, and OpenAI's coordinated disclosure of critical PHP vulnerabilities. The video also discusses US banks detecting unauthorized third-party AI agents in customer accounts, Amazon barring AI agents from its platform, and data-exfiltration vulnerabilities in Claude, including URL-based and HTTP-header PII leaks.

AI just BROKE all of the software industry...
In this creator video, the host argues that AI can now reverse-engineer almost any software, citing examples of games being ported or remixed—Mario 64 in Elden Ring, Spider-Man in Batman: Arkham Knight, Minecraft in GTA V, and Snowboard Kids rebuilt for PC. He points to SRE Bench, a benchmark measuring whether AI agents can reconstruct a program's functionality without its source code, and credits 'GPT-6 Astra' (per the transcript) with solving roughly 88% of tasks on a single attempt and 99.2% within four tries. He references the benchmark's paper, 'The Next Cybersecurity Agent Challenge X: A Realistic Contamination-Free Reverse Engineering Benchmark,' attributed to researchers at Google DeepMind, OpenAI, Anthropic, UCLA, UC Berkeley and Columbia. He explains 'clean-room engineering' as a legal method to replicate software without copying source code. He says he used the model in 'Ultra' mode to build his own video editor from a functional description—canceling his subscription to a video-editing service—and warns of a growing trend of 'revenge software,' where customers clone software from companies that anger them.

GEMINI 4 ARGON IS WEIRD...
Google has started rolling out Gemini 4 Argon, a new model available to Gemini 'Pro' and 'Ultra' subscribers in Gemini chat and AI in search, and to 'Ultra' subscribers on Antigravity, Google's development platform. The creator tested Google's demos (Wizard Chess and Desk Racer on Google AI Studio) and built his own games, concluding the model is powerful but 'weird' - it tends to build more ambitious first drafts with simpler graphics and more features, and is notably different to prompt than other models, a view echoed by other creators. Google also announced Gemini 4 Argon for robotics, evaluated via Andon Labs' Drone-Bench, and shared safety findings about shortcuts that stopped appearing in the model's reasoning.

OpenAI's
OpenAI released 372 mathematical results, including a formalization of a proof of Subhash Khot's Unique Games Conjecture—a problem computer scientist Scott Aaronson said his wife worked on throughout her career. Aaronson, one of the first researchers at OpenAI, called it one of the biggest days in mathematical history and dubbed it the 'Mathocalypse,' noting that no human has yet understood most of the proofs and that the reasoning is strange and non-human-like. Mathematicians formed the 'Association for Human Mathematics' and called for a boycott, arguing that AI-driven proofs are not legitimate human mathematics. Vitalik Buterin and Justin Drake warned about the implications of AI-driven discoveries for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and encryption. Meanwhile, Anthropic added a clause to its terms of service prohibiting users from abusing its models.

OpenAI's secret model just BROKE math...
OpenAI published 722 mathematical manuscripts produced by an unreleased internal model, each verified with Lean. The release spans 17 subject areas, from prime numbers to plasma physics to quantum circuits, and no human has been at the frontier of these problems. It follows a rapid pace: about 10 results in August, 100+ in September, and 722 six days into October, roughly a 10x monthly increase. All proofs, conjectures, reasoning traces, and Lean verification are on github.com/openai/math, and each result used compute equivalent to about three hours of ChatGPT Pro thinking. The work includes partial progress on the Riemann hypothesis—a fixed 0.875 boundary versus the 0.5 target, with humans having reached the 1.0 line—and the Birch and Swinnerton-Dyer formula for a broad class of cases.

GEMINI 4 is nuts...
A news-style video by Wes Roth covering recent AI product announcements. Google is reportedly readying a comeback with Gemini 4 Argon, and the video discusses what the early results tell us. OpenAI's DevDay 2026 is covered for its reveal of Dots (always-on AI assistants) and developer tools intended to move AI beyond chat into getting work done. The video also references GPT-6.1 Sol and includes a sponsor segment for CodeRabbit's Change Stack.
